About

Thanks for visiting my portfolio! I am a mechanical engineering MASc candidate at the University of Ottawa with a focus on embedded robotics, micro-UAV systems, mechanical design, and practical engineering analysis.

I like work that connects software, hardware, and physical constraints. My current research is ArduSwarm, an open-source testbed for decentralized drone swarm research.

Before graduate research, I completed my Mechanical Engineering BASc degree at the University of Waterloo, worked in building systems consulting, HVAC systems design, asset management engineering, and built several hands-on personal projects.

Interests

Outside of formal work, I like to keep myself busy with my hobbies. This generally involves tinkering on just about anything and everything I can get my hands onto; 3D printing, cars, small hardware builds, as well as skiing, tennis, and traveling. I have built and upgraded PCs and laptops, repaired electronics for friends and family, designed a custom SSD enclosure with CFD-driven thermal analysis, and built a compact Raspberry Pi audio streamer.

Current Focus

I am currently interested in robotics, embedded software, autonomous systems, flight controls, and practical hardware platforms for research and product development.

Always Stay Busy!

My motto in life: Always stay busy!

In my opinion, life is too short to be bored. There is always something out there for everyone and you'll never know what it is until you try it.
